Over the years, LAGLS members have come and gone. New careers, new partners, new homes, new lives — have all been reasons we’ve had to say goodbye to our friends. Unfortunately, we’ve had to say goodbye to some of our friends under other circumstances — illness, old age, AIDS, accidents. We honor our departed friends on this page. Contact the webmaster if you know of other prior LAGLS members who should be listed here.
Bob Tashgian, engineer, lost to AIDS
Peter Burke, statistician, lost to AIDS
Deborah Dorsett, botanist and longtime LAGLS friend and fan, lost to the highway winds
Paul Teigen, engineer, lost to pain and depression
